Practical agency guide

Check the path from the first lead to its outcome.

Verify delivery and the recorded result separately, using a client-owned test workflow you are authorized to check.

1. Choose the client and outcome method.

Create the agency and client workspace. Choose the reporting goal and a supported CRM, configured workflow bridge or manual outcome path.

  • Use the client’s own account in the intended workspace.
  • Agree on what counts as won, lost and still open.
  • Team and reference libraries can follow later.

2. Preserve the original lead details.

Configure the source and field mapping. Capture the original source, campaign and submission time. Missing attribution stays unknown.

  • Check a deliberately supplied test lead in the correct workspace.
  • Inspect its actual source and campaign; a mapping preview is not delivery proof.
  • Check configured duplicate handling rather than counting retries as new leads.

3. Carry the lead identifier to the destination.

Intake and delivery are separate. Retain the Attrival Lead ID in the client’s destination record. Connecting a CRM does not deliver leads or create records by itself.

  • Verify receipt at the intended destination.
  • Check that the returned Attrival Lead ID is stored in that record.
  • Names and email addresses do not replace the matching identifier.

4. Record the result against the same lead.

Configure the adapter’s lead-ID field, stage mapping, value field and currency. Workflow bridges return supported outcomes with the identifier. Authorized owners and editors can update manually managed leads.

  • Check won/lost mappings against the intended reporting outcome.
  • Confirm amount and currency; missing values stay missing.
  • CRM-managed outcome fields remain protected, including while paused.

5. Investigate missing matches.

Inspect identifiers, mappings, permissions and health when an outcome is absent. A report refresh reads recorded data; it does not prove CRM syncing succeeded.

  • Confirm the same client and lead ID.
  • Inspect failures, queue health and last successful sync separately from report fetch time.
  • Check agreed retries/duplicates. Do not classify an unmatched outcome as lost.

6. Reconcile the report to the lead.

Select a UTC submission period containing the test lead. Open its original campaign and inspect the matching record, outcome, currency and amount.

  • Disclose missing attribution, outcomes and exclusions.
  • Contract value does not establish payment or profit.
  • Repeat with an authorized reader. A checklist is not provider certification.
